To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this advertisement, 03/10/2022. Time-in-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are currently federal employees and have held a GS rank at any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet the Time-in-Grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-07 position, you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05. The rank may have been in any profession, but must have been held in federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-spent eligibility must be submitted with your application. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date in the past year, it may not clearly show you have one year of seniority, as the ad requires. In this case, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one year of class attendance. BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Social Sciences Series, 0101 – Individual Occupational Requirements: Positions in this series for which other requirements have been established are identified separately. Degree: behavioral sciences or social sciences; or related disciplines appropriate to the position OR Four years of appropriate experience demonstrating that the candidate has acquired knowledge in one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field OR Combination of education and experience that has provided to the candidate knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialist Experience: You must have one year of specialist experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression of the profession in the organization. Specialized experience is defined as the provision of health coaching to veterans to reduce or eliminate high-risk behaviors while increasing healthy ones; coordinate veteran satisfaction surveys and conduct plate waste reviews and food product taste panels; make recommendations for improvement; participate in performance improvement activities by assisting in the development of indicators and monitors, data collection and analysis, corrective actions and preparation of required reports, OR, Education: Candidates may substitute education for required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level, you must have 1 year of higher education or higher academic achievement. Higher academic achievement is the completion of all requirements for a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, which is based on (1) placement in class, (2) cumulative grade point average of 3, 0 or higher as recorded on an official transcript, or based on coursework taken in the last two years of the program, or (3) membership in an honor society, OR, combination: applicants can also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have a combination of specialist experience and education beyond the requirements listed above. You will be evaluated on the following skills for this position:

Physical Demands: Routine work requires repetitive hand and finger movement activities for heavy use of computer keyboard and mouse, standing and sitting for long periods of time, intermittent/non strenuous walking in all areas home from the medical center and the transport of light objects. such as papers, books, portable scales and food trays. Occasionally, duties may require moving audio-visual equipment and/or organizing the classroom and driving a car.
