Alverson Joins Bumpers College as Scholarship Program Coordinator
Becky Alverson is Bumpers College’s Projects Specialist for Scholarships, Development and External Relations.
Becky Alverson has been appointed Project Specialist for Fellowships, Development and External Relations at the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences at the University of A.
Alverson will implement, coordinate, lead and maintain the Bumpers College scholarship program, including the preparation of new scholarship agreements, the maintenance and monitoring of existing scholarship agreements and maintaining regular contact with donors and students. .
Alverson has been on campus since 2017, working in university development as a specialist in matching giveaways and intricate giveaways. In this role, she developed and developed the corporate matching gift program, trained gift department staff, processed and balanced monthly gifts made by bank draft and payroll deduction, processed complex and planned gifts. , processed daily filings, assisted the records department in maintaining databases and managed the monthly license plate program.

Prior to joining the U of A, she spent time with the Alverson Insurance Agency in Fayetteville and worked as an Assistant to the Registrar at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville.
Alverson, originally from Camden, Arkansas, received his BA in Psychology and Sociology from Southern Arkansas University in 1990.
His first day with Bumpers College was Monday, January 10.
Bumpers College offers approximately 500 scholarships worth over $ 1 million annually. Over 70 percent of students who complete the application process receive at least one scholarship.
